Solar Flat Plate Collectors - SMX-CP Range

The SolarMAX SMX-CP range of collector panels are especially designed for the harsh African climate and are manufactured in Kleinmond Industria under the most stringent criteria.  Only material that will stand the test of time is used to save you money over the expected 20 year lifespan.

Features:

• The absorber fins are pre-coated with Beckrysil, a cu-chromite/carbon blend oranice solar compound with a solar absorbance of 92.2% and solar reflectivity of 5.8%.  Calculated according to ASTM E903 om tje range 300 - 2500nm - thus ensuring maximum solar absorbence.
• The aluminium fins are roll-formed to make maximum contact with the copper risers containing water - ensuring a very efficient heat transfer.  The 15mm coper risers are pressed into snug fitting T-drilled connections, which are then High Temp welded with a silver/copper, which will ensure a leakfree connection.
• The outer casing is made from extruded anodised (35%) aluninium.  Together with the natural aluminium backing plate and 4mm toughened (hail resistant) prismatic iron glass - it will ensure a corrosion resistant and aestetically pleasing exterior that will last even under the harshest coastal environment.
• Durable copper waterway tubes ensure a healthy supply of steaming hot water, whilst inherently preventing bacterial growth.
• Our panels are modular in design and can be fitted with any SABS approved hot water cylinder; be it internal, external, pumped or whatever the design considerations.
• Working pressure up to 600kPa.
